It’s Saturday night, you and your noble band of adventurers are sitting around a table, and the Game Master is plotting your demise. But something’s missing. You need something to really get the group into the game. Well, Claudia Malmberg has just the thing you’re looking for. She makes and sells stained glass role-playing dice to brighten up your gaming headquarters. These dice, which can be found on Etsy, come as lamps, dice bowls, and more from her online shop, Dicey Decor. Make the jump to see a gallery of a few of theses amazing dice-shaped knick knacks and to learn how you can get your hands on one.

Leawood, Kansas-based artist, Claudia Malmberg, has been making stained glass art for over 11 years and began making three-dimensional dice three years ago. A truly awesome mom, Malmberg made these dice for her tabletop game-loving daughter and son-in-law before she began selling them online. She mentions in her Etsy profile that she’ll even take your dice request for a custom-made piece. So does this mean someone can actually make that truncated icosahedron lamp I’ve always wanted?

Malmberg’s Etsy shop, Dicey Decor, is topped by the slogan, “Not your average gaming gear!” As far as Claudia can tell, she is the only person on the planet who makes anything like these items. As of right now, the shop features 30 items, consisting of clocks, key chains, planters, and everything in between. All 30 pieces are based around the the dice theme and are made entirely from stained glass.

The level of craftsmanship that Malmberg puts into her stained glass artwork is truly breathtaking. Have a look at the gallery of a few of her pieces down below and head over to Etsy to see even more. Who knows? Maybe you’ll like them so much that you’ll want to get one of your very own.
