The Star Wars prequels are bad. Real bad. So bad, we keep arguing about how bad they are and which is the baddest of the bad. But could the three movies be combined into one watchable film, and could that film actually be… good? That’s the hope of Vimeo user Double Digit who just released Episode 3.1.

Topher Grace did something similar a few years ago, but was very secretive with his 85-minute cut, only showing it to a few friends and members of the press. He has talked a bit about the changes he made though, and Double Digit seems to have followed some of those notes, though ending up with a much longer movie at 2 hours and 47 minutes.

If you have any interest in watching this thing, do so now. We can’t imagine Disney lets this stay up for long.
