The Star Wars: Force for Change program encourages fans to donate to various charities in exchange for the chance to win some pretty sweet rewards, like meeting the cast of The Force Awakens on the red carpet. In order to announce this campaign, Harrison Ford surprised a bunch of Star Wars fans (all of whom are previous donors) via video chat. In other words, here’s Han Solo reducing his fandom to giggles and/or tears.
Although Harrison can’t ask any of us personally (sigh), the Force For Change donation campaign is ongoing — and you can try your shot at winning a chance to meet the cast of the upcoming film. There are some other cool rewards for donating, too, depending on what level you select — like a framed poster, or a Kylo Ren helmet replica, or a life-sized replica Storm Trooper suit.
