It’s not until the 18th, but Stephen Hawking and Monty Python have already won Record store day with this perfect rendition of the “Galaxy Song” from Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life. What’s that you say? Record store day isn’t a competition? Pff, yeah, now it isn’t.

The video comes from the Monty Python Live Show, which had physicist Brian Cox jump in to critique the song’s accuracy before Hawking shut that pedantry down. You can download the song to listen to on loop all day or grab a 7 inch vinyl of it from a participating store on Record Store day.
