Previously we heard talk of a photoshop-predicted Indiana Jones reboot starring Chris Pratt as the title character. Now we’re hearing, via Deadline, that Steven Spielberg really wants to direct Pratt in this thing. According to the report they’re waiting on a satisfactory script to reach their desks (so far there is no script, satisfactory or otherwise).

Spielberg’s got a history of loving Pratt: He’s reportedly the one who “hand-picked” him for Jurassic World, after all. That kind of makes Pratt sound like a delicious blackberry, which I am all for. But Spielberg’s not exactly alone in this field — don’t we all have a history of loving Chris Pratt? And no one’s answered the most important question of all yet, which is whether or not that raptor gang would carry over into a new Indy.

Also of note: Spielberg’s got a great history with Indy. He’s also got, uhhh, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So…there’s that.
