Our favorite thing about Muppet Studios on YouTube is that they’re not just putting up any old videos, even though that would be more than enough.  They’re putting up videos that are very aware of the context in which they are shown.  That is: YouTube.

Whether its Beaker or Gonzo jumping on the a-capella-with-oneself trend, or Beaker (again) combating an endless stream of annotations, or as you will see below, some interesting subtitles; this technique of using every last resource of your format to tell jokes and make movies seems very in keeping with the old Muppet style.

This video also contains our favorite appearance of Statler and Waldorf on YouTube yet.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
