In case you’d forgotten or missed this juicy bit of news in the midst of all the other reboots, Tales From the Crypt (aka the show that traumatized you as a child) is fixing to make a comeback. Unfortunately, it’s pulling an Avatar and being delayed. But don’t worry, the horror series will make its way back to the small screen eventually.
“The underlying rights to the classic, vintage property are complicated,” a statement on the show read. “TNT and others have been pursuing a solution for more than a year, with significant progress being made. We look forward to the potential for further active development of this valuable franchise once the clearance process is fully resolved.”
The original anthology series ran from 1989 to 1996 and featured the likes of Billy Zane, Tim Curry, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt and more in creepy and horrific crypt tales. Haha…see what I did there? No word yet on a new release date but…uh…they’re working on it? Yeah, that’s it.
