Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets its digital and Blu-Ray (Rey?) release in early April, and one of the features I’m most excited to see is Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey. The behind-the-scenes documentary premiered at SXSW this weekend, and follows the cast and crew throughout production.

This trailer for the documentary gives us a sneak peek of everything from the table read to filming the final scene of the movie, and features John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Daisy Ridley. It’s really touching to hear the new cast describe their fear of getting scenes or character elements wrong. Obviously the opportunity to feature in a Star Wars movie has to be one of the biggest breaks an actor can possibly get, but that’s a double-edged sword. So many careers were ruined or stalled by the prequels, and I can only imagine how terrifying it was for the new actors to imagine that they could go down in cinematic history as the people who helped ‘ruin’ Star Wars.

Of course, the Star Wars veterans weren’t immune to nerves, either; it sounds like Ford at least had a lot of concerns about pulling off several scenes in the movie. Speaking of Ford, I’m particularly curious if the documentary will address his on-set injury.

Regardless, this promises to be a fascinating bonus feature. Will you be watching?
