As the seemingly endless press tour for Avengers: Endgame continues, the team swung by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to answer questions about the upcoming film. In the segment Just One Question: Avengers Endgame Edition, Late Show staffers and folks off the street pose questions to the Avengers.

The questions began fairly normally, with staffers asking your typical questions like “what super power do you wish you had?” and “who is your favorite Avenger?” but quickly escalated to goofier queries. When asked who the team’s greatest enemy was, Chris Evans replied with “chafing. If you’ve ever run through an inter-dimensional portal wearing a skin-tight body suit, you know what I mean.”

Brie Larson is asked about Captain Marvel’s secret weapon for taking down Thanos, and she replies “easy: it’s compassion”, before following up with “no, I’m going to punch him into the sun.” She also reveals that Carol Danvers says she’s allergic to scallops, when in fact she doesn’t like them. Avengers: they’re just like us!

We also see Scarlett Johansson signing the shirts (and faces) of the janitorial staff, as well as another staffer goading Jeremy Renner into shooting an apple off his head with an arrow. It does not go well for said staffer. We also find out fun facts, like Don Cheadle wishing he was Emilio Estevez in The Mighty Ducks and “Ruffalo” is short for “Rufflet Lohansson”.

Oh, and if you’re putting together some furniture, you might want to borrow Thor’s Allen wrench, Flinjor. While the Avengers: Endgamepress tour continues, it’s always fun to see the stars interact and be willing to show off their comedic skills. It seems like everyone is having a good together, and that chemistry reads onscreen, which is part of what makes the ensemble so successful.

There is also a bittersweet quality to this tour, as this is the last time we will see all of these Avengers together. Who knows what the future holds for the MCU, but we’re not likely to see this cast reunite for future movies. A handful sure, but never all the Avengers together at once, like this. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts. One more week, folks!
