Neel Sethi, the young boy who’ll play the lead role of Mowgli in The Jungle Book, has a tough job. Not only is he an 11-year-old boy making his first-ever acting debut, he’s got the unenviable task of acting across from a series of computer-generated characters. Admittedly, those characters will be voiced by a star-studded cast featuring Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley and Christopher Walken … but, still, this kid’s got a lot of work to do.

The latest TV spot for The Jungle Book gives us a glimpse at all of Neel Sethi’s intense emoting. Since Sethi is the only actor on-screen in  this movie — at least until the end, assuming this movie ends the way The Jungle Book usually does — he’s got a big weight to carry. What do you think about his acting chops so far?
