While Sam Neill’s involvement in any upcoming Jurassic projects is as of yet unconfirmed, the actor did let it slip that he’ll be participating in another big franchise–namely, the MCU. In an interview with ShortList for his current project Hunt for the Wilderpeople (also by director Taika Waititi), Neill said he’d just filmed a bit on Thor: Ragnarok just prior to the press junket: “I had to sign all sorts of things. So if I say anything else, Marvel’s secret agents — and they are lethal — will come and get me and probably my children, as well.” Maybe we can look forward to a mini Jurassic-reunion with him and Jeff Goldblum?
- Remember the new DuckTales series that’s coming to Disney XD? Well, Oh My Disney just revealed a first look at the logo that will be airing along with it–and there isn’t much of a difference from the new logo, but it does pay homage to both the original animated series as well as the comics. Pretty neat, huh?
- Bill Nunn, an actor who was best known for his roles as Radio Raheem in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing as well as Robbie Robertson in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, died yesterday at the age of 62. Lee paid tribute to his friend and longtime collaborator via Instagram. (via Deadline)
