Daredevil is getting a reboot, and there might be reason to have faith in a new take: the writer hired to take this on is Brad Caleb Kane, currently a writer and producer for Fox‘s Fringe and also a big fan of Daredevil. While his resume is a bit thin, he has been gaining a very good reputation around Hollywood for his screenwriting, so this could be a very welcome reboot indeed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, his passion for Daredevil is what won him the job.

Kane is being asked to adapt one of the most influential and acclaimed comic stories of all time, Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s “Born Again” run from Daredevil
