Archandroid Cindi Mayweather, a.k.a. Janelle Monae, is back in the form of a new concept album and new visuals/videos featuring TMS’ Queen, Tessa Thompson. Called Dirty Computer, this will be Monae’s third studio album, and see the return of her “time-traveling android messiah” after five long years away. According to io9, “certain screenings of Marvel’s Black Panther will feature a brief Dirty Computer teaser along with what Pitchfork described as ‘film narrative’ about the project.” No release date has been announced yet for the album.
