  • The 18-year-old Kansas woman who tweeted Governor Sam Brownback “sucks” on her personal feed will in fact not be writing that apology letter her high school told her to for “damage control” purposes. She’s up to 3,000 Twitter followers from her previous 65 thanks to the scandal and said she thinks it helped “open up dialogue” about free speech and social media. (via Jezebel) EDIT: The Governor has since publically apologized to HER. “My staff overreacted to this tweet, and for that I apologize,” said Governor Brownback in a statement on his Facebook page. “Freedom of speech is among our treasured freedoms.” (via The New York Times)

The Uniblog posted this amazing Mario meets Harry Potter mashup. The artist Juxtapop said, “I finally got around to watching every Harry Potter film. Never saw them before, never read the books. Then it hit me. They have all the same powers as Mario.” Us = O.O

  • Comic artist Jill Thompson is a well-known wrestling fanatic, now she’s mixing her two loves by designing a jersey for wrestler Bryan Danielson, a.k.a. the American Dragon, a.k.a. Daniel Bryan of the WWE. (via Robot 6)
