Fall is almost here, and though there doesn’t seem to be a set release date for the premiere of Doctor Who season 7, we do have a lovely new trailer from BBC America. It features some old favorites, like the Weeping Angels and soon-to-be former companions Amy and Rory, as well as some old garbage can enemies, the Daleks. There’s also a bit of a Western going on, as well as dinosaurs all over the place, and some very polite but angry mechs. Seems about par for the course. Unfortunately, we don’t catch a glimpse of the new companion, Jenna-Louise Coleman, but she’s slated to take the torch from Amy and Rory sometime this season, so we won’t get too anxious about her lack of appearance in the trailer. Give it a watch, and get ready for some more ridiculous-but-fun sci-fi adventure when it returns this fall.
