Showtime is getting cruel at this point. After releasing a Twin Peaks music trailer (which gave us confirmation that original composer Angelo Badalamenti would be returning to score), the network has released another video featuring interview snippets with both old and new cast members from the upcoming continuation.

Since this video stands at less than two minutes, it’s definitely not long enough to include all 217 members of the Twin Peaks revival, but it is just enough to whet viewers’ appetites about what’s to come.

Seeing some of the original names from the series–like Kyle MacLachlan sharing his feelings on returning to the character of Agent Cooper–was enough to renew my excitement, at least. (But where’s Sherilyn Fenn?)

Given that the series has already wrapped filming, could it be safe to assume that a trailer chock full of brand new footage is on the way? In the meantime, I’ll be over here drinking cups of damn fine coffee until then.
