Apparently some Twin Peaks fan sites have been posting and sharing set photos and information to Twitter in their excitement about filming finally beginning on the much-awaited cult classic TV show revival. We’re not going to re-share them here because that’s exactly the problem. A lot of the set photos are grainy long-distance shots taken from a ways away. Regardless, David Lynch and producer Mark Frost aren’t happy about those photos being posted to the internet.

For what it’s worth, a fan campaign has popped up in response to the spoilers, with fans tweeting their praise and/or criticisms about spoilers under the same hashtag Frost used above: #KeepTheMysteryAlive.

As The Daily Dot astutely points outTwin Peaks is a cult classic TV show that’s finding itself in a new place and time. It didn’t have to worry about things like every bystander and gawker having a camera in their pocket. It’ll be interesting to see how they deal with these things as shooting continues.
