The people simply can’t get enough of all things Batman-related. Everyone wants in on the action, and the CW is no exception. The network announced a new television show, called Gotham Knights, to join the legion of other shows, movies, and games that are currently in the works. Similar to the upcoming video game of the same title, Gotham Knights begins right after the murder of Batman. This leaves Bruce Wayne’s adopted son (it doesn’t specify which adopted son) to solve the case while teaming up with the children of Batman’s enemies. As with all Batman titles, the real question is: What villains will it feature and who will play them?
And we have at least one answer on that front. Fan-favorite actor, and social media darling, Misha Collins tweeted the official announcement that he will play Harvey Dent aka Two-Face.
I believe in Harvey Dent. And Misha Collins.

Two-Face is such a cool and complex character. A young and idealistic lawyer, Harvey Dent rose to fame as Gotham’s District Attorney. He worked closely with Detective James Gordon and Batman to rid the city of its extensive organized crime problem. But Dent lost sight of his moral compass and thought that any means (violent or otherwise) justified the ends. Dent made enemies out of the wrong people and became disfigured when one of those enemies tossed acid in his face. The accident made his tenuous grasp on reality snap, creating Two-Face, the coin-tossing villain obsessed with his sense of justice. His signature look is a two-toned black and white suit.
It is so exciting that Misha Collins will be the new Two-Face. Collins is most well-known for playing Castiel on another CW show, Supernatural. In his Two-Face announcement, Collins even joked that he may not be comfortable on camera unless Two-Face wears Castiel’s trademark trench coat. As the angel, he normally acted the hero. But through various storylines of possession or losing his grace, Collins dabbled on the evil side. This role will allow Collins to stretch that side while still keeping that charm we all love. Plus, as any Supernatural fan already knows—Collins looks good in a suit and tie.
The CW projects the Gotham Knights pilot will premiere this fall. Hopefully, there will be plenty of costumes and behind-the-scenes photos teased before then. Which other villains do you hope to see in the series?
