Gal Gadot is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend and we are very excited. NBC released a promo which asks the question we all want to know: Is Gal Gadot anything like Wonder Woman in real life? It also asks the other question we all want to know: How the heck do you pronounce her last name? I know I’ve heard her say ga-dot before, so I don’t know if I believe Marky Mikey Day here.

  • That horrible anti-choice congressman who was revealed to have pressured his mistress to get an abortion has resigned. The hypocrisy is thick with this one. (via CNN)

  • Lin-Manuel Miranda has also been fighting to bring attention to Puerto Rico. Among his many efforts is this Spotify playlist. In addition to encouraging awareness, Spotify will be making a donation to disaster relief. (Plus, as of now we’re only about 20,000 followers away from that JLo cosplay.

  •  Kelly Marie Tran gave an interview “teasing” her Last Jedi role, which by now we should all is code for “doesn’t say anything at all.” We’re still gobbling up all of her words, but let’s not pretend we’re going to gain any advanced insight. (via EW)
  • Toronto is introducing “buffer zones” for abortion clinics, as well as the homes of doctors and staff and even some pharmacies. Anything to get the angry yelling men with posters of fetuses out of parking lots is a great step. (via The Star)
  • And over here, we have Jeff Sessions, rolling back discrimination protection for transgender workers. I hate this timeline. (via Buzzfeed)
  • The whole “video game as surprise training device for actual space/future war” thing has been done, but it’s never been done with Eliza Coupe and Josh Hutcherson so I am in no way complaining about this Future Man trailer. (via Pajiba)
