After that teaser we got last month, the full trailer for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2, which arrives on Netflix April 15th, is here.
To be honest, I’m a little less excited for the second season now than I was before watching this trailer. The joke it opens with is disappointing; I think Kimmy’s eternal optimism is intended to be the punch line here, but it feels like we’re meant to laugh at her Elf Coworker, too. The rest of the trailer kind of felt like same old, same old Kimmy Schmidt to me, which, depending on how you felt about the first season, could be good news or bad news. Personally, I’d like more of a definitive new arc for these characters than is hinted at here, but this is just a trailer. We’ll find out more come April 15th, I guess.
