Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events Casts Violet and Klaus

Netflix’s highly anticipated adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events has cast two of the Baudelaire children. Malina Weissman, who plays the young version of Kara in Supergirl will play clever inventor Violet and newcomer Louis Hynes will play middle child and bookworm Klaus. There’s no news on who will play Sunny but, then again, she is an infant so, uh…limited options for fan-casting there.

Hopefully Weissman, Hynes, and whoever plays Sunny will be sufficiently horrible for Neil Patrick Harris’ Count Olaf to sneer and shudder at to make for a bad, bad, beginning.
