We’re sorry to tell you folks, but there’s going to be a bit more of a wait before we get to watch Helluva Boss season 2, episode 10.
The adult comedy musical animation has spread its episodes a lot further apart and, after some waiting, season 2 was finally back on track. Now, however, it seems fans will just have to wait a little longer once again.
Created by YouTuber Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano, Helluva Boss is both insanely wonderful and yet tragic at the same time—tragic in the sense that we have to wait so long between episodes. I mean, a seven-month wait between episodes 7 and 8! That’s enough time to produce a whole TV season! Well, calming down and moving on. Season 2 started on July 30, 2022, with episodes released over the past two years. The last two episodes, 8 and 9, titled “The Full Moon” and “Apology Tour” came out on May 31 and June 22, 2024, respectively.
The tenth episode, titled “Ghostf*ckers,” is set to land on YouTube in October, though the exact date is not yet confirmed. Honestly, the fact that this is a show about hell only makes me feel that we are in an immersive experience where the waiting is part of the torture. We could hazard a guess that the episode will come out near the end of the month if it follows the same pattern as the last two episodes.
You’ll probably need a recap …
In the episode “Apology Tour,” Blitzo (the “o” is silent) realizes that he has some apologies to dole out. He does so, but only half-heartedly, not fully understanding just how negative an impact he has had on those around him. On Earth, he attends a Halloween party hosted by Verosika Mayday and the theme is “slam Blitzo.”
Here, a disguised Blitzo hears his ex-lover, Stolas, sing a song about how he still loves Blitzo despite all he has done, which finally forces Blitzo to see what a complete ass he has been. He apologizes to both Stolas and Verosika before leaving the party, feeling guilty and ashamed. Helluva Boss season 2, episode 10 will likely pick up from here, with Blitzo trying to move forward as a better imp. We don’t know exactly what that is going to look like, but it’s about time that Blitzo got his act together.
The cast for the tenth episode would appear to remain the same, with Brandon Rogers continuing as the I.M.P. founder and manager Blitzo. Richard Horvitz will return as Moxxie and Crimson, Vivian Nixon will return as Millie, as will Erica Lindbeck as Loona, Bryce Pinkham as Stolas, Alex Brightman as Fizzarolli “Fizz” and “Robo Fizz,” and Cristina Vee as Verosika Mayday.
