Thanks to the magic of public broadcasting, you now have the soundtrack to the rest of your day: a Danny Elfman concert as performed by the Lincoln Center Orchestra. Of course by the rest of your day I mean for the next two hours and however long you want to keep refreshing the page. Anyway.
PBS has published the two hour long concert special as part of their Live from Lincoln Center series, where they broadcast… uh, live. From Lincoln Center. Clever name, no? This past episode featured Elfman’s greatest works, including some of his work on The Nightmare Before Christmas. You know, in keeping with the season and all.
The best part, though? Elfman’s in attendance, and he sings Jack Skellington’s parts in many of the Nightmare Before Christmas segments. Not even kidding! You should check out the concert above to see for yourself. Hint: it happens at 1:27:00. Just in case you were wondering.
