The ever-brilliant Kevin Wada has kicked off a bit of a trend on Twitter. He wanted to see people’s renditions of “80s-appropriate X-men costume designs suitable for film.” So, after being inspired by fellow writer/artist Jamie McKelvie’s Twitter suggestion, he coined the #80sXmen hashtag, which has seen some of the most fabulous fan renditions of the X-Men in 80s fashion. It’s an absolute treat to scroll through and see all the amazing art folks have shared on Twitter.
For example, check out this stunning Jubilee from Trungles.

Or perhaps you prefer Paul Reinwand’s take on the superhero.
