Artist Takayuki Hori takes the art of origami to another level of poignancy in her work Oritsunagumono, which uses skeletal views of endangered animals printed on transparent plastic, and folded into animal shapes. The work is beautiful, but undeniably grim. In addition to the skeletons of the animals, Hori has added images of the manmade objects these species often ingest.
